Well I helped a buddy do his roof over the weekend and for part labor. He has well pretty much the same motor you have. 30 over 302 flat tops mild cam gt40 heads on it efi motor. One of the reason I haven't gottin back with you been stuck on a roof. I was thinking putting my Stage 3 valve train, victor jr and 750 carb that I have on this motor with a 150 shot. And hopping to have my 11s motor out of it.

11's N/A?

If you use GT40 P heads you will need specific headers or manifolds I believe, just stick with the Mustang version on the GT40's

I used the P heads w/ no issues. I have shorties that were on the P heads if you want to buy them. $75

imo I would just pick up allthrottles stuff and be done with it, + you kno with that setup you can get into 11's with a lil bit of spray

I have now my old motor that i got with the car. And i have the 302 thats in it now and now the 306 i got for doing the work on the roof job really dont need any more motors laying around. Plus the 306 i just got is pretty much the same as he has.

Not bashing anyone, but chk out this scenario: I sold my old 355ci that was in my S10 to another guy with the same chassis as mine... I went 10.80's on a 150 shot w/ it and he couldnt get it out of the 12's... He started changing stuff and it slowed down even more.

Lets not get off the question here

what has to be done to install my r-r stude and guide plates on these heads.
