Gravel hauler accident.

I never did get to go for a bike ride with him, he reminded me of my brother kevin sometimes ......another regret of mine....should of would of............
Jerry was a great guy.

Our hope must be in JESUS so we may one day be reunited , we are just Spiritual beings having a human experience.

I want to thank everyone again. He has been a part of my life for 21+ years. This was an accident. But it also could have been avoided.
God bless you Uncle Jerry.

Sorry to hear about your loss. You read the stories about these things in the paper but having someone related to them post really makes it hit home.

Today (friday) was the viewing. It did not look like my Uncle  They had to reconstruct part of his face.

I guess what happened was the mechanic didn't have any lights on when he took off in the rig. We believe my Uncle was caught from behind and never knew what hit him. The mechanic then backed up to see what he hit and ended up running over my Uncle twice :( I know he didn't do it on purpose but could have prevented it. I was told the mechanic is on suicide watch. I am angry but at the same time feel bad for the guy.

Thank you all for the blessings. We are getting through this one step at a time.

Matt (dirtybird) sorry for your loss. These close family members can not be replaced in any way.

One more thing. When one of the guys came in from the American Legion and did his salutes I got all choked up. The Legion members came from near and far to pay respect to my Uncle.

R.I.P. Gerald "Uncle Jerry" Setter
