granholm sign

You konw you could do something really interesting / vulgar with that sign and most likely get on TV.

Then you can state some facts of her wonderful performance while she's been in office.

MI has lost a job every 20 minutes for the past 4 years.

And what have you done to help?

Get what you can out of it because this state, inexplicably, is about to re-elect her

There is -nothing- inexplicable about it. A record number of people watched the debates and I think the overwhelming majority of them saw DeVos for what he is. He is -not- a leader, has no charisma, and offers no new ideas.

Grandholm has brought jobs to the state. Frankly I don't understand how she can be blamed for the problems with the Big Three. It's not her fault that people stopped buying American cars. It's also not her fault that her Republican predecessors did absolutely nothing to diversity the state economy or end the SBT.

As opposed to Granholm, who is -not- a leader, has a modicum of charisma, and offers no new ideas.

Huh? Grandholm has a great deal of charisma and it is very evident when you watch the debates. You don't think a $2,000,000,000 jobs fund is a good idea? Raising the high school graduation requirements not a good idea? It's very obvious who is in touch with the average person and who isn't (caugh, 500 million in assets).

I really don't care about his assets, but he is a business man, and a good one at that. In my book, he can' tdo any worse than what's already been done. It amazes me the mentality of people that re-elect people who do absolutely NOTHING, and get back into office (Kwame Kilpatric, aka hip-hop mayor).

I started a business  wtf do you want me to do? Sorry for stating facts.

Starting a business is a great way to help.

I'd like to add that she also re-instated medicaid dental benefits for adults, so the impoverished now have access to a wealth of dental health care that the rest of us must pay for. This is wonderful except it still only pays at about 1/3 of the reasonable and customary fees, and therefore no one accepts it except health departments and chop shops. My point? It was cancelled for a reason and the funds were reallocated elsewhere, now that's been cut too. Not sure where they went, but I can tell you that it's MILLIONS, just for dental alone.

Anyone on here willing to work for a third of your wages? Way to go Jenny, that's blowing us away. My vote for your sign is just to throw it in the trash, which is what I just did with the one my renter put in front of my practice.

Good. Poor people need dental services just like the rest of us.

Yea, me. I woudln't charge my normal rate for charity work. Not everything in life is about making money. Sometimes you do things for free or almost free just to be a blessing.

If more dentists and other health care professionals would spend a few hours a month volunteering their services perhaps we wouldn't need the government to step in.

Ok than why is Michigan the only state to have an extra tax for small individual business? Why does Michigan still have one of the highest auto insurance rate? So far what has Granholm done for the people of Michigan??? She sure the hell aint no Jessie Ventura...

I'm not familiar with the national statistics, but I would surmise it's because we have some of the worst drivers in the world on our roads. My guess is that Detroit (and we all know why) is included in the state statistic which heavily skews the overall numbers.

FWIW, my insurance rates are not high at all. Funny how being a good driver and having low rates seem to go together.

We have excellent parks, roads that are getting better by the day, an excellent educational system, and a big push by the governor to help small business via loans (partially funded by the tobacco settlement). The list could go on and on.

Quote Dr. Teeth "Anyone on here willing to work for a third of your wages"?

No, but I'd do my job for 1/3rd of your wages if your compensation is average for a dentist :)

Roads getting better is funny because the on ramp to the xway right next to my house has been closed for 7 months and there hasnt been one worker there yet. I drive over shitty roads everyday because there crap ass fix's last 1 winter and they redo it again fix it right ass holes. When I start to drive my winter car that I will drive the xway to work with iam opening that on rampmyself.

Granholm sucks a dick she hasnt helped shit and has fucked shit up worse we would be better without anyone in MI's office if its gotta be her.

Up until now I had respect for your opinions even though I generally disagreed with them, but after this comment I can see that you are only a run of the mill asshole. I would suggest that before you make generalization comments about something you apparently know absolutely nothing about, you refrain from running your mouth, because it only discredits you.

Dentists and health care workers are the only ones who DO perform services for free and/or for reduced fees, and if those same patients spent their money on fillings and cleanings instead of cigarettes and Mountain Dew they wouldn't need so many things, and just in case the next bit of diarrhea out of your mouth involves "poor people" and any generalizations you may infer from anything I say, please indicate how many hours YOU have logged treating or serving the impoverished either at community health fairs, hospital ER's or in health departments. Then take your snotty ass comments and go fuck yourself with both hands, jackass:bs: . And for the record, what is it that you do for a living that benefits the "poor," other than passing judgement on what us "rich" doctor types do and do not do?

I would write something vulgar about that CUNT and then put it up in the frontyard.

As for the rest of this thread take it to the debate forums. Please don't hijack.
