Grand national guys, I need help

My dad is one step from getting his 1924 dodge street rod running and his e.s.c module is cut. He wanted to upgrade if possible to a better ignition and wants to know what you guys are running that won't cost a fortune. He wants to drive it from new Mexico up to Woodward cruise this year.

What EMS is being used?
The factory GM stuff is good if there's not a lot of excessive heat soaking near the icm (buick 3.8 assuming).
I wouldn't use Accel or MSD, but that is based on my experiences with Accel & MSD ignition parts with gm v6 electronics.

We just want it running. It won't start unless we have one. I was wondering what other guys use.

We found one. Hard to come by. Plugged it in and its running now.
