:bsflag: Your not going to get any junkyard tranny to take 600hp for any amount of time. Argue all you want, it isnt happening. If that were the case everyone would be "digging" th-400's from old trucks and using them stock on everything.

Looks good man...
I am sure you will get this one to run just as good as your others...
I am sure it will be just as clean as well....

Another street car?????

Thanks guys..

Pyke, stop by anytime just give me a shout.

Spys, street car it is. I cant do the whole trailer deal...it gets annoying loading and unloading..i'd rather just jump and and take off :peelout: I went mild with everything because fast and driveability does not combine. It even as full exhaust, check out the pics.

Nice I think my retarted cuzin Bilo Drives a similer car!!!!! lol

sell your fronts to me and buy some bogarts

I sold the whole set already. That went towards the transmission/converter. I'm waiting on the bogarts, I already have the tires.

Not to knock your choice of transmission but when you put so much money into a th-350 or 400 you might as well have put in an automatic overdrive. They handle just as much power plus overdrive and a lock-up converter.
$3500+ and it could break the first time you get in it...versus $1200 to your door beat on it for 6 years then sell it for $900. Yes I see your point.

I am not familiar with the insides of transmissions though so I could be wrong.

Any clearance issues or mini tubbing required with the 315's? Sounds like a lot of tire for a street car.

I cant imagine the th-400 will be super driveable if it had any kind of gear in it or a loose converter. The 315/60/15 is a pain to fit. The 325/50/15 is a 28" tall tire and fits a easy. Gold Rush is running the 325/50/15 not a 315/60/15 which is a 30" tire.
