:drool:i got a 97 cadillac sls for 200 bucks this weekend!! :nayner: runs and drives awesome and has decent paint. but i want to turn it into a GHETTO UAV like rob and big's Denali.

flat black paint
tint on windows and lights
and black wheels.

THERE IS NO RUST!!!

so my question is, i want to just take 400 grit to the outside and use 3-4 cans of flat black enamal to do the job. with winter here do i need to seal it.

i should probably go on xceedspeed and post there because they love rattle can paint jobs.

but i think when flat black is done nice, it is the nicest paint on any car, and have been contemplating a color change for the ws6 this winter

Better start saving for parts instead...

Are there any John Deere dealers around here? Find one, go in and tell them you want "Blitz Black". Good stuff, I used it on my Bronco II but I'm having trouble finding a pic right now.

hahaha yea. it was an imulse buy. runs reallllly good. and has 4 doors and fwd. so i figured something to tackle winter

You can scuff it with scotch brite and then I used semi-flat
black on my car. It seals has held up very well.

Go to PAINTER SUPPLY in Plymouth, they will mix you the flat black that they use at the big 3. It works pretty good.

And I think you will need around ten cans of paint to make it happen. Took twelve cans on painters touch for my mustang. The car wash bay we painted it in was a little windy though.

yaaa im interested in just rattle canning. that looks really cool!!! semi flat looks really good. its a burgandy color!

dp 90- epoxy primer

x2. It will be more expensive than rattle can, but thats just in no way quality IMO. DP is strong as hell and will seal very well. DP will also bite into just about anything so do a good job taping. using DP i would just use brand new red scotch brite's on the panels and be done with it.

Just say no to rattle can :thefinger
