Curios what prompted that opinion ?

The heads are barely better than stock from what I have seen, the block uses all different covers than stock blocks. Plus with the new GM block around the corner and the LS7 block out already I would say overpriced. Might be good for someone who has money to waste though. Just my opinion.

You are looking at around 9-10k to build a warhawk shortblock. Thats out crazy, give me a ls7 block anyday.

Yeah,
The tall deck Warhawk block is $4099.99, and add the Eagle Tall Deck 9.800" rotating assembly $2899.99. So your at $6999.98 and that doesn't include machining, assembly and misc. parts.

And that is for Eagle parts, if you have Warhawk cash you obvioulsy would use upgraded componants.

This just in, Got a 4" stroke Sonny Bryant crank with 2" rod journals on it's way. Looks like I should call Diamond for some slugs soon.

You know the number buddy !!!!!! Some really nice light diamonds would work great !!!!! Whats the chamber volume on those heads matt??? Hopefully really small, so we can use a small dome, or even a flat top piston.

Oh it's gonna be a flat top it only has a 43cc chamber. I do want at least 15.5 :1 though so It may be a slight dome. I was actually thinking flat top with big valve reliefs so any cam would not be an issue.

Matt do yourself a favor and pick the cam first and get it in your hands. That way we can build the piston around it.
