lightning.jpg 1995 Ford Lightning! Always like these trucks so when this one came up had to buy it. Runs strong shifts good needs some tlc on the cab corners and the wheel wells. Already picked up a cam and a set of roller rockers and I finally got a home for the afr heads been sitting in my shop!
 
Nice find, a classic. I just seen a lowered black one with black 22's... it was very "Hot wheels" looking but didnt look horrible.
 
Yes it has the 351 with stock GT40 heads and intake. Stock they were 240hp. When I do cam I plan on heads and rockers upgrade also and a converter swap. so Im not sure where I will be on Hp out put but it will wake up for sure!
 
Thank you derbydad276 but alreadty got them. I was on the launch team for the Lightning liked them then finally got one all these years later! I got a gut feeling that this truck is going to get a whole lot more love than I first had in mind! More I look at it the bigger my parts list is getting!
 
Sounds like there is going to be a tear down party in my shop tonight on the lightning to get the cab front clip and bed off so it can go to my buddy to get body work done and paint! Should give me a good amount of time to get the frame all cleaned up and repainted and the motor all done! Dam the wife is going to have my ass but when your buddys say there in and will be there got to take it !

Nice that a MM guy got that truck. I lived down the street from that house and would never see it driven. What'd you pay for it? I thought the $5500 was a little much with the rust on it.
 
Got it way way cheaper than the asking price I have done a ton of work on it and his other cars and snowmobiles so I got a hell of a deal on it. Everything I fixed on it over the years was all oem parts. It does have rust issues put it is all there. I redid the whole front end last year and had new rear leafs built for it and he hasn"t driven it since.
