Im trying to get a reasonable quote but for some reason(always been this way) Everywhere wants rediculous numbers im 32 with no points for 10 years or so but 3200 a year for the cobra or 1800 a year for a 03 ranger...WTF?? went on sos site but didnt see anything that would help me but there has got to be a way to figure out why this is!!! Any ideas??? thanks,Jason

if you have a clean record that is insane, not sure where you have been going but i have state farm, good price and amazing service if something happens. i know insurance is more expensive in cities and such but damn

I'm 26, clean record.

97 cobra fully insured - $900 a year

06 300c - around $960 a year

some insurance companies quote really high without running a credit score, i did figure that out, called progressive and they quoted me around $2400 for the cobra, they wanted to run my credit and said i could get a better price if they ran it. no thanks.

i have a friend that owns an insurance company in Yale, deals with private companies so rates are always lower. Could send you his info if you want, its legit been in business for like 30 years.

by law i believe they can only hold tickets agaisnt you for 2 or 3 years, someone may correct me on that pretty sure its not more than 3 years tho
