I have a new unit with the LCD bacpak and a 8gb card. I used it for about 20 minutes on the Hot Rod Power Tour this tour and it has sat since. I have just over $440 into everything.

For what you do I could see it, it's just overkill for me. I can just bring my laptop to the track to watch the videos.

Don't underestimate being able to use the LCD to position the unti for a good shot angle... without the LCD it can be total guesswork.

If I had a nice car like you all I'd probably care more lol, I'm really just trying to catch races. I would rather save the money for go fast parts.
