Good web sites/ forums for 40's era cars?

JalopyJournal if it's traditional.

This is the best and worst part about that site. They are so by-the-book about traditional. They badmouth fuel injection, SBF/SBC but embrace a T5 trans swap. Some are picky to the point of using flathead screws as opposed to Phillips because they weren't available/common at the time.

It’s a weird time for cars of this vintage. My dad has our 37 truck, and bought a 39 ford convertible last year. The following for the cars is all baby boomers, who aren’t on forums, and are still writing each other letters and club newsletters.

My dad is part of the early Ford V8 club, which has been around forever, just hope they can survive the digital transformation

It's not just cars. The younger generation doesn't seem to have any interest in anything before they were born. I think it's partly because they are taught in school that America is bad and caused all the world's problems, so they try try to distance themselves from "old America". Meh, dunno.

The younger people or misinformed folks may think the "imports" and compact domestic vehicles have a larger more affordable aftermarket. For the smaller crowd of young people, they may consider more than one area for interests. Dollar to power, power to weight, weight to size _ etc...

No need for a forum, just watch Mad Max a few times for inspiration [emoji869]
