Hey guys I need a new clutch for my 03 mustang GT. I was wondering if you guys had any good recomendatoins for a good clutch for a bolt-on/nitrous car. I was thinking of replacing the flyweel and clutch quadrant as well. Any place around here I could get a good deal on one?? Any help would be awesome guys.

I recently had an 04 cobra clutch put in...
I'm only makin 260/301 to the wheels though... love it compared to the spec clutch i had in here.....

D&D performance in wixom is a good place to buy from. I have a centerforce dual friction clutch and that thing has some serious clamping force, but the pedal effort is extremely tough on the knee after a while. I plan on going to a heavy duty ford clutch like the 04 cobra next.

My Spec clutch/pressure plate actually requires less pedal effert than the OEM Cobra unit did.

Mine was a spec 3:lol: in a 300 hp car... i dunno wtf i was thinkin.... I listened to the wrong guys on that purchase... It was on or off, and the pedlle effort was just ridiculous..... I mean getting stuck in traffic actually hurt after about 5-10 miutes...lol

I have a 3+ and love it. If it ever needs replacing I will certainly get another one. Just can't justify the price of a high dollar twin disk when these single's hold so good and are very streetable (no clutch chatter easy pedal effort).

I think mine was installed kinda funky if thats at all possible....lol
But yeah it held like a mo-fo:lol: but it chattered terribly when i tried to baby it from a light or anything... I had to drive it like it was a racecar all the time ...lol (i loved it at the track though) :)
I have heard more good than bad about spec clutches so i'm just gonna guess I had somthing f#@3d up in there...lol
