Gone to an Alignment shop and walked out getting screwed?

Please post the name/location of the shop so we don't suffer the same fate.
I have a 1 strike / 0 tolerance policy for thieves and half-assed work ..

I'd love to know what shop this is from. Especially since your in my neck of the woods.

Didn't want to say the name cause I thought a few members might still work there and would of gave them a chance to make it right but since they don't.....
Belle Tire on Rochester rd and M59
I'll call the main office Monday and get my money back. Most of the time if you complain to the shop manager, the complaint usually stops there with little or no punishment (cause everyone's usually in on the commission scam)

funny same shop who tried to pull shit with me,

A (multiple?) complaint needs to be filed with the State of Michigan.

funny same shop who tried to pull shit with me,
When Ryan and slowmaro used to work there, they've helped me out.. Nissan did an alignment when the truck was new and I burned through a set of rear tires within 5000 miles and Nissan paid for new tires and alignment that the Motown members did... So I trusted Belle again with the alignment because I put new tie rod ends in and I got the shaft.
I'm not knocking Ryan or Slowmaro cause when they were they they took very good care of me

What would the state really do? Belle Tires a HUGE company that I'm sure pays huge taxes to the state

Sorry let me clarify, same company it was the belle in brighton (post jenga) they got real nice though when i pointed out the old control atms in the back of the car , and asked it the car was even in a alignment rack before they tried the upsell

Folks need to be willing to take effective action when companies
try to “rip off consumers”. If your registered complaint is unfounded
or nothing becomes of it, then so be it, at least you tried.

Why not call the shop and just ask them what the deal is first? The manager is Jerry and he's a decent guy and would probably be more than willing to do whatever was needed. Jumping to this seems excessive considering there is some doubt as to exactly what happened. There's no reason any complaint couldn't be filed after an explanation was given or the truck was put back on the alignment rack. God forbid you or someone you're responsible for screws up (intentionally or not).

Sal is a level headed guy but some of you are fucking nuts. If you swore off every place that you thought was out to get you, you'd never leave your house.

Sal you're obviously free to do whatever you would like. Jerry is the manager of that store now and he's a good guy. If you want to start with the corporate office that's fine too. If I can do anything to help, put you in contact with anyone or anything else, let me know.

I'll give Jerry a call tomorrow and see what he'd do for me.. You've done me good every time I went there... I actually wish you where still there, I need tires for the Mustang!

One of the only sales guys left that I know is Nate. He's at the Hall and and Hayes location. He'll give you a deal.

Edit: The other guy I know is Rex in Auburn Hills. He's not too convenient for Sal, but anyone closer to the Great Lakes Crossing area can see Rex.

Belle Tire sucks, I had to file a compliant with the state against the one in Fenton. They told my wife they could not do an aligment because the passenger side inner tie rod was bad. I go to change and realize after i got the boot off there was nothing wrong, went grabbed paperwork thought I was doing the wrong side. Nope, so I go ahead and replace it since I already had everything a loose but realize they just didnt want to go thru hassel of heating the jam nut to get it to break loose. So I send her back the next day and I call the manager and explain it to him, he starts to tell me I dont know what I am talking about and his mechanics are lisc professionals, this and that, so I say how long has your mechanic been liscened to work on cars, he says oh he has been lisc for 5 or 6 years. I told him well I got my lisc in Front end in 1987, so I have had mine for about 25 years. He said he was going to stand with his employee. State contacted me a few months later after complaint. Said if I would have still had part should would have tested it and if it was good she would have went in and shut them down, but she said based on everything she believes me over them and she was going to go in and scare the shit out of them.

Ryelou hooked me up with Rex and he has been taking good care of me. He's a good dude.

The Belle Tire at 75& 11 mike is another location to avoid at all costs as well. They tried to pull the same crap on me when I brought my Yukon in for an alignemnt. They write up an $1,100+ repair bil for all new Co trol arms , tie rod ends and other stuff.....too bad they didn't actually look at the truck......maybe they would have realized all those parts has less than 10k miles since I had just replaced them. I feel like they just looked at the odometer and figured they could up sell me from just a basic alignment.

So is it true the mechanics work on a commission or incentive program? ??something beyond flat rate that's makes them pull this crap?

In any other profession this would land you in jail, somehow Belle Tire gets away with it.
