Going to.....

Silver lake tomorrow. Camping for the weekend at Val-Doo??????? or something? Not sure on the name of the campground? Girlfriend and I are leaving tomorrow and a bunch of other people are coming up Friday. Question is..... Should I take my bike with a paddle tire on it? Are there any real good dune jumps? Not small stuff but like 30-40 + up to like 100 feet or so? Anything like Glamis style? Crusty demons? Or just little ones? I would be the only one with a bike so I would only ride for a couple hours the whole weekend and thats it. Is it worth it? I know that there is stuff to climb and dragrace. I hear that the really good stuff is for walking and not ORV?

Like you said it's mainly climbs and racing around. I don't think there are many places to jump like you're looking for.

The dunes are always changing. When I went with Murph and Jacko a month ago, there was a spot where people were jumping about 75 ft. They were a good 15-20 feet in the air. It was badass.

Theres place there to jump... you really gotta to be carefull of traffic people dont pay any attention to anything out there

I was there back in 02 and 03 with my 250 and a bunch of friends we found a cool spot that was almost like a table about 50 ft .. a couple gaps that had good launches prob soild 40 ft's to 60 ft

Yep. Biggest thing I've noticed this year are the expensive long travel buggies. Seems like most (I said most) I see are being idiots. 60+MPH everywhere they go, doing whatever they want, wherever they want, and never paying attention to anything other than themselves. Just pay close attention to what you're doing, especially if you're on a bike.

good call. I dont wanna get ran over. That would make it a shitty weekend.

Just got back. It was wicked. Lots of crazy ass people all over the place. Just took the Ranger out for a cruise. It did fine. There was a Diesel (black) Ford, propane, license plate (fstdezl) was laying the smack down on everyone. Going back in a few weeks with the bikes and paddle tires. Woooo Hooooo!
