GMPP a new sponsor?

Man, you guys are quick! I am just testing out the banner software right now.

Yes, believe it or not, GMPP wants to sponsor Motown Muscle. It is part of their new program to reach out to niche markets with their expanded product line.

This is not like our traditional sponsorship as we generally shy away from non-local sponsors. There will probably not be a contact person that can answer questions for us or anything like that. However, when any of the big three expresses interest in supporting the club, we are not going to turn them away.

Who did you talk to over at GMPP? I've sold Lisa Reffett<she works at GMPP> a couple cars.

We are dealing straight out of Madison Avenue in New York. It is a firm commissioned by GM to handle internet marketing. I asked them where they got our site, and she told me that someone at GM listed us as one of the niche sites they wanted to reach.

:mmm: Maybe it was Jamie Meyer's. He is on this board. He use to be the announcer for the NMRA. Now he is working for GMPP.

Pretty cool either way.
