Get ready for MI2K13

Thinking about coming out with some pro video gear and putting something together if you guys are cool with it. Would like to set a rig up on a follow car for some grunge races if its cool. I was thinking a rig set up out of the sunroof of my suburban and even maybe another DSLR rig attached to the hitch getting a low shot of cars coming up from behind. Stuff like that. I was talking to SidewaysCoupe and he was talking about strapping some go pro's to some cars.. Put it all together with some on the fly shot list and slick cinematography tricks and you get one high production kick ass video.

Also, establishing crane jib shots of the parking lot, maybe dyno pulls put together with what car grudge races, etc. Whatever. And I could talk to the owners of whatever car if they want numbers hidden or whatnot. Just an idea. I dont even know if I'm available those days, but if i am, it could be kinda cool. What you guys think?

Kyle that is a GReAt idea, out of a few peeps, we have a total of 5 go pros. We have a turbo 600 bike as a chase cam as well , and a buddy's evo with one strapped to it. Ill have one or 2 on my car since ill be racing everyone and their mother!

I know Texas doesn't have all the goodies, Michigan is full of nice cars and I'm trying to bring them out. After all we are Motown! This is gonna be a kick ass event and I hope most of you show wether its to see the cars or join in on the fun .

strap me up haha.........i have a r1 that im sure i can get out to if we need another chase bike.....i even have a go pro mount on top of my helmet.
 
I have two Gopro's and might be able to rustle up a few more..... this should be a good time.

sounds like a great time!

You might need something faster as a chase bike to keep up with some of these cars.......

the turbo 600cc is geared for 160 i figured thats a decent chase cam, but hey if anyone knows someone with a bigger bike thats willing to take some footage let me know!
 
Sounds like a cool event!

BUT, 6/28-6/30 is prime boating season. Not sure if I want to do this, or enjoy my Baja on the lake and at the Moot that weekend....

my 1000 goes to almost 200.....im bringing my mustang out though so let me see if i can get a friend to ride my bike out too if needed just let me know+... ill switch back and forth.....but 600cc with turbo..thats a bad bitch.

Damn this sounds like a awesome weekend. Count me in. Single turbo LSX mustang coupe E85. I also have a gopro or two that i can bring.
