Parking lot is on merriman rd and michigan avenue. there is an advanced auto that shut down but the lot just behind it. There is a big krogers in that plaza as well!

Appreciate the kind words, fellas. But I am not so sure I have anything for Ryan's TA. His avatar in itself intimidates me, lol. But either way, I just want to see what happens and I am eagerly awaiting his PM telling me he is ready to rock and roll so we can line them up..:)
 
All I have to say is be careful guys...a lot of shit can happen really quick at those speeds, so just be careful. Hopefully the event organizers will have some system to monitor the track for fluids, parts, etc, because it won't take much at 150mph+ to start something really bad.

This happened just two weeks ago to a car at the Chicago half mile...guy was OK, but it could have been a lot worse. No cut tire or anything...car just started rotating after he hit the brakes after the run. Only post this video because I saw this car run the weekend prior at the SC Shootout in Norwalk.

that cars caliper locked up on one side which caused he to spin out. But I fully understand what you are saying. we can never be too safe!
