I don't feel like doing basic algebra so i posted. What kind of answer is that?
sorry, i thought it was easy.
4800 times 4.10 divided by 3.73= 5276
4800 times 4.30 divided by 3.73=5533
whats more important is what mile per hour you want your vehicle to go at what ever rpm that you choose. this take home work.
1st and second gear ratios make no difference on mph. it makes no difference whether you take off in second or third, your vehicle will mph the same (just a lot slower et).
mph=hp
tire height times pie divided by 12 = x
5280 times x = y
gear raito times y = rpm @ 60 mph
this gives you base line.
from there you can figure your mph @ what ever rpm.
automatic cars with a proper torqueconverter will loose 4-6% (mph times 95% is close enough)
hope that helps. if you need more help pm me.
