Gbody regal tech help ASAP!!!!!!

i cant get my headlights to come on in my 79 regal. i replaced the headlight switch, still wont come on. side marker lights come on, but no headlights. any suggestions, its killin me cause i work midnights.
 
is power for the headlights coming out of the switch?


for temp, you could always run jumper wires under the hood to power the lights up
 
or are the high beams on the turn signal like modern cars
if they are on the floor its in the top left of the foot well. you push the high beam button with your foot
 
left foot area, near the parking brake mechanism, closer to the firewall, its a silver button, close in size to a quarter

locate it, unplug it and see if you have power to one of the terminals with the headlight switch on, if you do, jump the terminal with power to one of the others(has 3 total) and go look at the head lights, if they are on, move the jumper and power the other terminal, look again, the other headlights(high or low) should now be on

if they come on like this, you need that switch

the middle part of that might as well be spanish to me. i have no idea how to do any of that. any shop recommendations near roseville, or anybody do any sidework around here?
