Gas Monkey Attack One Lap of America

Mustang guru Brenspeed and Gas Monkey Garage have teamed up to race a 2015 Mustang GT in the grueling One Lap of America event, which pits teams in a 8-day race that combines 19 different individual events at 9 different tracks, and spanning across 11 states. By week’s end, drivers will have covered 3,245 miles with very little sleep!

How do you pack for a lap around the US?

Clothes for two drivers for 8 days of racing, race suites including helmets, spare brake pads, rotors, clutch, half shafts, sway bar end links, and spare tire (one spare is allowed). Remember this race is has to be run on the same set of tires the entire week, on track and off, so our spare is for a disaster situation on the side of the road in the middle of the night. We also packed duct tape, electrical tape, connections, wire, tools, JB weld, silicone, Loctite, and clamps!

I have actually met Aaron, and it isn't that he hates them. I had to ask about it since I love Mustangs and the show. He hates that most Mustang guys all seem to follow the leader in his words. He likes different, likes big power and american muscle.

Yeah, that was my first thought..... Chrysler has really stepped up the product placement this season on the tv show.
