My sister got hit by some drunk loser in Pontiac Friday night. The jackass made a left turn in front of her and she hit him. She seems OK. Just sore and all that.

Whats the speed limit on huron street, like 35/40?

The only MAJOR damage other than sheet metal and engine parts was the front bumper. That things not dented in to bad for a 40 mph crash.

The only thing that scares me is if the guy would have hesitated for a second or two. That would have been a severe blow to the DR. Door.

Oh its definatly totaled. I just think that this situation proves that some of the newer/smaller cars are pretty safe. Id rather have a totaled car and a driver that walks away than a repairable car that put the driver in the hospital for the same accident.

no their totaling it. That's the 2nd accident it's been in. The lease is less than a month away from over. So its GMAC's problem now. :lol:

Glad to see that she is ok. G6s are very nice cars.

If she plans on replacing it with the same thing, tell her to look into the Saturn Aura. After driving my fiance's G6 for the past year, the Saturn looks like a nicer version of the same car.

It was on huron street in pontiac. This one is a GT as well. Sharp looking coupe. well..... it was....

I had the 4 door GT we had before this one at a milan rental once. 15.6 was the best i could get out of it IIRC. It was impressive for a 3.1 V6 sedan. We've got another G6 sedan on the way as well. but not till the end of feb. I had to get my 90 Caddy up and running so my mom and sister could share it till then. :shake: It had enough rust on it without being driven in the salt this year. Good thing i haven't stripped it down yet.

It really is. We have a mildly equipped 4 cylinder. It is very easy to control in a slide, goodish e-brake placement, great mpg, shows that GM was thinking while designing an interior, and safe. My fiance' got hit a few months back in it.
Great lease car.

Yep that was the one...i didnt see it JUST as it happen but i seen it like 20 sec after it happend...I was on my way to work, if i knew it was your sister i would have stoped and seen if she needed help but good to hear shes ok
