This was posted on facebook and not sure if everyone saw this, so just passing it on.
Not sure who all knows but I figured I'd share. In light of the Tony Bynes/Mark Woodruff wreck....the pictures of Tony's car made it to NHRA/IHRA officials. They have reached out to most tracks questioning whether other cars in their area are racing with such lack of cages. Long story short Jeff Miles of House of Hook have us the head up that rules WILL be implemented. Off the bat it's said that if you run 5.40 or quicker you must have a funny car cage. Jeff was able to push that et to 4.90 or faster and a date is to be determined to implement. These same things could be the future of grudge racing worldwide so prepare yourselves. Just passing it on.
