2002 mustang gt I need to now what fuse is for the back running lights and instrument cluster. Hooked up battery those lights don't work now. want to check fuses

21, 30, 34 from what I can tell on a google diagram

Check to make sure the dimmer switch isnt clicked "off" for the cluster lights.

For the rear park lights, check to make sure the filaments are good, brake lights should come on still.

do the front side marker lights come on when the rest are supposed to?

Head lights come on turn signals and brake lights all work. Checked dimmer. Still no cluster lights. Unhooked battery to do timing chains hooked battery back up when done and now i have the light problem.

There are fuses in both spots. The layout of the fuses was in the owners manual (probably not in the car being 13 years old now)

Ill see if I can find a fuse diagram

I didnt see anything say f1 any number. Checked all the small fuse. All are good.
Lj when i did the timing chains there twobolts at the bottom of the cover that hold wires in place are those grounds by chance. I put them back but if there grounds ill clean them then put back on. Im really starting to hatethis car.

Mustangmike i see your im mt clemens. Im at 16 and Gratiot. If you would help me ill pay u i just want this done and over if you ever done timing chains u know im done with this thing.

As for the bolts, those should just route the wires away from the belts IIRC but if it was a ground, reattach it. I wouldnt think that doing a timing chains would affect just 1 circuit. Did you wrestle around a wire harness when in the engine bay? If you cant find a bad fuse or relay, its getting close to the time that you need to break out a multimeter for deeper diagnosis
