Where's a good place to find a pic on setting up a fuel system? It's my first time setting up a fuel system and want to do it right the first time. I'll be running an A2000 pump. Have one Barry Grant reg, and will be picking up an Aeromotive one also. Thanks in advance guys.

aeromotive dont have a drawing for it? i know bg has some on their site, is it a returnless pump or does it need a return?

if u find a site please post it im doing the same thing now.im running a blk and a blue pump,-8 to the motor/-6 to the nitrous,my problem is regulators,my last car i used holley regs & connected them, that way u run motor& nos off 1 pump. only turn #2 pump on if uwant it, or if #1 pump fails #2 pump will keep u from running out of fuel.

Wish I would've taken pics of my old set-up. I was running two Holley Blues. Only turned on #2 pump for the nitrous. I'll let you know if I find anything.

no you use 2 sepate systems. dont tie them together. use 1 for the motor and 1 for the nitrous if that is how your doing it. so you would need 2 regulators 1 for the motor pressure and you need 1 to adj the fuel pressure for the nitrous.

thats the way i did my other car accept the regulators were connected, but i dont rember why.thats the way my brother-in-laws car is done, but i dont remember the reason behind it,some thing to do with air pockets.

Matt do yourself a favor and throw the BG regulator in the trash. Especially if its a 2 port. I have two in my garage right now, cost me a little over 200.00 bucks and they both work for shit. I had one I ran for one seasin and then it started to mess up so I took the brand new one out of the box and guess what yup its junk also:swear:

Looks like I'll just get an aeromotive one then. Thanks for the heads up.

usually with 1 pump you go from -10 to the y, then you go -8 after the y block to the regulators. after that i go to -6 to the carb and nitrous kit...

Cool thanks. I was told that a cheap Holley regualtor won't work with the A2000. I believe he was on the board here and tried running a Holley reg. Figures i sold both my cheap regulators. :(

wheels uses them with his pump, i think he has a magnaflow or something, i know for a fact they use em on bg400s, i dont see why they cant on aeromotive pumps. i actually did a fuel system on a car i have been building last week and it had an aeromotive pump on it but its the one without the return and i did it just like i said above with the -10 to the -8 to the -6. im doing my bg400 the same way on the new car with holley regulators..

What's a good pump? Was going to go with the Aeromotive pump but am open to other ones. Really don't want to spend big $$$ on one-figured the a2000 is big enough for anything I'd ever need.
