fuel pump input

so im suspecting the pump is going out in the mustang , ive been on google searching for what the fuel pressure is supose to be but cant find anything , anyone know what the fuel pressure is supose to be at with the car running and at prime ?

also if it is the pump what should i stay away from as far as buying a new one ?

Fuel pressure should be 39 40 idle with vacuum and 50 on the throttle or no vacuum.

i pm'd finster ......... so by vacuum off you mean pull the vac line off the fuel pressure reg and then test the fuel pressure ?

Yes. Also on should be about 30.

ok cool , im like 99% sure my pumps toast i just need to check it so im not throwing more money into it that doesnt fix the problem , ive been meaning to go get a FPR off smooth but cant ever find the time to go grab it
