Fuel Problem

I have an Aeromotive fuel regulator on my car. I asked Rick(99saleenspeedster) just to makesure, that turning the screw clockwise increased pressure. Thing is, the car is running really rich either way i turn the screw. Suggestions?

Thanks guys, I figured out the problem some connections on the plug wires weren't good and that was causing the car to appear to run rich. I fixed the plug wires, but unfortunately not until I fouled out the plugs. At least I know it's not the regulator Plugs are cheaper :lol:
