I'm trying to make a new fuel line for my 54 Corvette. Originally there was a compression fitting on a copper line connected to the tank and the connection at the fuel pump was a rubber hose with a hose clamp. I'm trying to figure what is proper method of making these connections while using a stainless steel line.
And I believe I should be using a 5/16 fuel line.
The fitting on the gas tank for reference which seems to be 1/2 NPT from trail and error with my thread chaser set:
any ideas.
