FS: old hockey cards

See pics. Got these from a family friend who was moving old clutter. They are all in great shape and many should be old enough to be valued at at least "more than jackshit". There are some from the early 80s and late 70s despite the labels on the boxes. I think a small amount were from the 60s as well.

I looked up a couple of the ones in the hard cases but most are commons, although they list at a couple bucks. I think the Gordie in the front is the most valuable at $10 or so. Not sure what is hiding in the boxes but I thumbed through most and didn't see any huge names or obvious valuable cards pop up.

Asking $30 or BO. I could trade for some other stuff but I don't have any suggestions on what I'd like, so get creative if that's what you want.

I sold off my Dad's cards last fall, feeling guilty so slowly building back up when I see a small collection available. I did "cherry pick" his and kept some of the better one's though. Thanks, meet up with you soon.

i got 5 bucks for a Dave Debol, card hartford whaler

No Dave Debol in the group, some cool older stuff though, a Mickey Redmond and several Red Berenson cards, my son took a few and ran around the house with them last nite when I got home  Thanks for the deal Ozz, nice to meet you.

Wish I could of gotten this. Cards were a staple of my child hood. I remember going to the mississauga card show my father didn't claim all of our belongings while heading there. We got detained for 14 hours while they used a beckett and ebay to value everything and sent us on out way with a $1500 tax fine

Ozz didn't make out too bad, he's in my "buyers club" for future discounts :coolio:

That HK I was looking at will definitely make up for it :D

Same here, seems every day I'd bike it to one or the other card shops in my old town and hang out w/some of the other kids and guys who ran 'em. Always knew which special cards were where, buying packs and trading up, trading w/friends on weekends and at school. Man, fun times. Doesn't seem like it's anything like that anymore unless you're talking Pokeman or whatever
