After owning it for over a year, I'm putting my Mustang up for sale. I bought it in May 2009 with 147,XXX miles. When I bought it, I had intentions of restoring it and performing a manual conversion, but until recently I haven't had the money to carry out my plans, and with the job I'm now working I now have little time and not much motivation anymore. Since I've owned this car, I've fixed a couple issues it had and it has served as mostly a daily driver. This car definitely has potential, I've just lost the motivation to make it really nice.

This far has the 5.0 liter V8 (last year of the 5.0 Mustangs) transmitting power through an AODE 4-speed automatic, rolling on a set of black rattle-canned '99-'01 Cobra 17" wheels. But I prefer manual transmissions, that's why I was going to swap in a 5-speed or a T56 6-speed if I could afford it. As far as I can tell, this car is COMPLETELY stock, not even a cold-air intake. I believe it even still has the 2.73 rear-end gear.

This car runs and drives pretty good. For the past year, I've been driving this 10-15 minutes to and from work almost every day, along with running errands and a few trips out to Royal Oak and back. But as you can see, it will need some minor body work and a respray to get the exterior in order. It also has a handful of little problems that should be fixed, but definitely not necessary right away (improperly/non-functioning features, interior trim parts, etc.).

Some of the little problems it has:

-Power locks don't work. The driver's side door lock doesn't work from the outside either, you can still lock up the car just fine but you have to open it from the passenger side.

-Intermittent wipers don't work. Also, when you turn the wipers off they just stop where they are, they don't return then stop. And when you try to use the washer fluid, they won't stop at all unless you turn off the car.

-The blower fan for the HVAC system only works on the highest setting, and the blender motor seems to not work either since air only blows out of the defroster vents.

-It seems that the previous owner started to convert the black/gray interior to an all-black interior, but they hacked up the area around the instrument cluster on the all-black dashboard for whatever reason. Because of this, I can't properly mount the headlight switch. The picture in the ad shows this. I have a replacement black/gray dashboard waiting to be installed, but I haven't had the time to do it.

-Tachometer works intermittently.

-Power mirrors don't work.

I think that about covers it, but I'll add more if I can think of anything else.

I'm also willing to do a partial trade for a '94-up manual-trans Mustang GT (or Cobra, but I doubt I can afford it ).
