Yesterday, a friend of mine stopped by with his new GTR. It has a few small mods... but I was amazed with the power. We couldn't use launch control because it was about 32 degrees outside and we didn't want to lose control.

Those cars are quite impressive...Recently saw an "Ultimate Factories" how they build the GT-R...The engines are hand built in a "Clean" room...Then each one leaves Nissan "Race Ready"

Nice, who tuned it? Is it tuned on a Cobb AP or Ecutek race rom? He should think about adding pumps and getting a decently aggressive E85 tune - car is night and day difference on E85 compared to 93 oct.

Hey bud, what did the issue turn out to be with your car last season? Never had the chance to ask you...

Is this Steve? I guess it had something to do with the quality of E85 gas that was in the car. At first, I thought it was the pumps since I pulled them and the relief valves on both had blown out. Put new ones in and the issue was still there. Sent the car back to AMS. AMS looked over everything and then installed a Zietronics in-car ethanol analyzer so I could always know what I had in my tank (they say that the test tube method I was using for the gas was not that accurate). Anyway, the gas was measuring E92 after the install of the analyzer and they said the gas I took them when they tuned the car weeks earlier had to have been lower than 85. They believed the E92gas on their first tune was causing the car to lean out. They just ended up cleaning up the tune on the street and things have been good since then.
