30lbs is my goal... i just started running the other day and ive cut out all pop and energy drinks...

I actually lost more weight drinking energy drinks while training but I don't really care for the way that I feel when I drink them. Cutting out pop is a big one though!! I quit pop a while back and I must say that I feel much better just sticking to water and OJ. My goal is to lose about 5 lbs and to gain roughly 30!!! Its harder to do with a bowflex though....
 
I only run 2 miles max, but I always up the speed on the treadmill a bit more each time to get done quicker. I've found that I get in better shape that way and build my wind up better. Its tough but I eventually want to be able to almost sprint the whole 2 miles.

I can drink like one low-carb monster just for a pick me up if you drink anymore then that a day your going to become dependent on them. Tea and coffee is a good alternative to replace energy drinks, I will slam 2 cups before a workout and I'm good to go

I drink 2 cups of coffee per day usually. Its very easy to become dependent on energy drinks. I used to be.
 
if i drink a monster and then do anything active i get a burning feeling in the back of my throat... and if i ran 2 miles right now i think id have a heart attack... im that out of shape... its kinda pathetic... im working on almost a mile for right now... keep in mind i havent done anything athletic in about 9 years
 
I see guys at the gym slam 2 monsters before their workouts :shake:

x2!!!!! Way too much sugar in those things! I also miss taking NO2. That was the best supplement I ever took. I can't afford it right now though unfortunately. Its either work on my car or buy supplements. I can't do both.:punchball

Supplements add up quick.... you can walk into GNC get N02 and Protein and your already looking at about $80 just for the basics. The best bet is to order online..

It just takes time and consistency. I gained 30lbs of muscle in 13 months without resorting to anabolics. I just spent 6 days a week in the gym and never missed a workout. Then the gym I went to closed down and I put most of my time into my car. I lost alot of what I worked so hard for but I'm at it again and hopefully I can stay at it this time.

No2 is expensive!! I think I was paying like almost $100 bucks for 300 capsules. Now that adds up quick!! Then the protein bars of course....$$$$$
I can blow through protein bars very quick!!!
