I have a free 2002 Silverado complete LS1 type shortblock that I was gonna rebuild but changed my direction. NOTE: It needs to be rebuilt, or you can use for scrap metal. I just need it out of my backyard. You must pick up. Absolutely no deliveries!!! I do have a engine hoist to load into the back of your truck. First come first serve. I will not hold it for anyone. If its from a Silverado its a 5.3...A running 5.3 Shortblock will cost you $300, One that needs to be rebuilt is pretty much worthless aside from scrap price...

Isn't it possible that it's a 6.0 though? The 2500HD trucks still say Silverado on them. I agree though, it's most probably a 5.3, and not worth much.

Its possible, but they arent worth much more. I sold my last 6.0 shortblock for $250

Worst case is that it's a 4.8L. A buddy had one of these in his '07 Silverado crew cab.

haha yeah, I have a 4.8 in my silverado. I love it actually. 20mpg in a fullsize truck!
