5:00pm TO 10:00pm - "Big Block" Party
The Pre-Fest "Big Block Party" on Main Street starts at 5:00PM. Come and Join the Fun! Bands, Food, Vocalists, over 2000 Great Cars, and Great People.
7:00pm TO 7:30pm - ABC TV-12 LIVE
ABC TV-12 will be doing a live segment in Downtown Frankenmuth.

Heard it's a lot of fun.

I've always wanted to to this show. But the Old Car Festival at Greenfield Village is the same weekend and we usually go to that.
 
I went last year and there was a TON of nice rides. They are all parked so you can see everything if you want to. You almost need to do it in 2 days there is so many cars there. I doubt I'll be able to make it this year, as its a big football weekend.
 
I'll be there Friday and Saturday. The cars Friday night are usually not the same ones that are in the show. Friday anyone can park on the street if there is room. Saturday its 1978 and older, most of those guys want to get the best spot in the park so they dont park on Main Friday.

It does take all day to walk through all of the cars Saturday. If I get there on time Friday I plan on parking my Red 2011 Shelby on Main street. Should be next to a Blue 2011. Say hi if I'm there.
 
So did anyone go? How was it? One day I will make this show. it was worth skipping this year cause my uncle took 1st place in his class this year at the old car festival at greenfield village.

My girl and I headed up on friday night and did some walking around with my cousin and uncle, who both had cars in the show. Tons of nice cars to be seen on main street alone. I really want to take off work and do the whole weekend next year- a couple hours after 8pm was cool, so I can imagine how much more there was to see during the day.
Maybe my cousin (Stormy) will chime in with a little more information.
 
It was a lot of fun. I was just there for Friday but there were a ton of cars. I think next year I want to get a hotel on main st. and stay the whole weekend and take Friday off. People were grilling out, bands everywhere, drinking. Seemed like a lot of fun if you were just partying and chilling there the whole weekend.
