Stop by the X&M Hot Rods chassis dyno at the Auto Fest today and Saturday and introduce yourself. I’ll be there helping Ed later today and all day tomorrow.

If you have a car in the show and run on the dyno you are automatically entered for the highest horsepower trophy. Last year’s winner made just over 400HP so I know you guys can do this! You must also have your car registered in the show to be in the running for the trophy.

Mention that you’re a MM member for a special discount on your pulls! (Just don’t go broadcasting it) PRE-DISCOUNT pricing will be $65 for two pulls and $80 for 3.

I probably won’t be back on here to answer questions since I’ll be busy so…..SEE YOU THERE!

We watched the dyno cruise through town did not realize you were there until I read this. There were a lot of cars last night. Got in town early afternoon, sat and watched cars cruise.

I won't be there tomorrow, well, later today I should say, lol. Ed will have the dyno there from about 9-noon though. Enjoy!

Jim, I was right behind him in my bright red Silverado! There was an insane amount of cars judging by the little tiny piece of heaven I witnessed from the dyno area. I seriously didn't have time to go explore.

I've had the car in my avatar on this particular dyno countless times, it still doesn't make it ANY less intimidating!

Holy hell was it hot and humid! Just wrong, but I'm incredibly thankful it wasn't like that today on the busy day!
 
It was probably a good thing it was a static cruise. That heat would have sidelined a lot of those cars. I know mine would have struggled.
 
Missed it this year, first time in 11 years. I usually go up for the weekend with my dad, and hang out Thursday thru Sunday.. But the damn flood of 2014, amongst other things, set me back.

Good thing I guess, I always tend to get "overserved" on Friday nite every damn year!
 
We saw the last car on the rollers. Sweet sounding X piped big block! Made 438/550+tq. Those radial t/a's on the back have a rough life im sure.

I arrived very late but I heard 640rwhp by a car an announcer was talking about. I heard that and the last car up...I pretty much got to hear every car leave which is not a bad visit in terms of car show excitement. :)
 
On Saturday we did 18 cars. I wish I could have had time to get more pics and vids but we were just too busy. The announcer must have been exaggerating a bit since no-one made it over 550. The highest of the weekend was a 514ci blown Mustang that put down 546. More impressive was the NA BBC 496 that made 497 on nuts on Saturday. There was also a 418ci Windsor that laid down 446 on nuts. The other heavy hitter was a 454 on the squeeze that made 530. I almost forgot about Friday's 5.7L Toyota Tundra that made 426 and the 03 Terminator that put down 518/575.
