How much horsepower do the 5.0 GT Foxbodies have stock? Anyone know stock 1/4 mile times?
My parents have a vacation home up north and sometimes I like to use it for parties. Well, this past time we had some of the locals come over for some pool, beer, bon fire, etc.... One started running his mouth about how slow my Charger is and his EVO VIII could kill it. He wanted me to put money down on a race, I told him I will just mess around with him, no money. Long story short, 2 races from a 15 roll... I won both. 1 race from a light, I started to gain on him around 45mph, we had to slow down the two lanes merged, so he won.
Some other kid starts up how this 5.0 Mustang in town would own my car. All that is done to it is exhaust. I never met the owner of this car, but I have seen it.
I am not saying my Charger is the fastest car around, but it does have some balls.
