i just tried swaping mine with a 65mm one. doesnt want to come off the intake mani. seams to be siezed on. or am i missing something. i took off the 4 nuts off the studs, tps, idle air controle, and the throtal cable bracket. even tried smakeing it a couple of times with a small dead blow hammer... still nothing...

probably just stuck, it is just the 4 nuts, might be some corrosion around the studs as well

thats what i thought. but it wouldnt even break free with the hammer.

decided im just going to wait till i swap the intake also. the studes are siezed up also...

had the same problem on my 89 5.0. i'd wait for the intake swap too. it was a pain in the ass and i ended up mangling the gasket surface with a chisel and had to rtv it. still didn't seal quite right.
