I just priced out the entire manual rack kit by F.R. and it threw me for a loop! Just wondered if anybody on here had one they wanted to sell?
 
ok I went to buy the FR steering shaft and I was told if I don't have the FR rack I have to buy a $80 adapter for the stock rack.....so do I still need that with another rack that's not FR????
 
The Adapter so I can run a stock manual rack is 30 bucks?!! Is that the rack you ran in your car???? I don't have to buy tie rod ends or any of that BS?

nope i bought the adapter from the ford dealership it was like $30 this was about 6 years ago though,... went and bought a manual rack from autozone this way it hs a lifetime warranty. people ask why you need a warranty on one. well i broke one in half once when the car came down on a wheelie and they replaced it for free...im 99% sure the same tie rods work, its just at the last few threads but im pretty sure they are all the same for everyyear, the length so that is the way it needs to be...
 
They are special order at Autozone. I can get you a price next time I work if needed. I know they went up in price over the last few years.
 
yeah if you can get me a price on the rack and maybe the PN that would be great. Which Zone do you work at?

You wouldn't know the part number for that dealer part would you????
