Fox front coil overs spring rate

Im putting a tubular k member a arms manual rack in my 79 hatch back I want to do coil overs I'm not sure what spring rate to get it's going to be a street heavy street strip car the only thing I really wanted was to drop the car a couple of inches ride quality isn't a big concern but I don't want to feel like I'm driving a fork lift around other then the front suspension and a fiberglass hood the car is full weight any other variables let me know thanks.

302 or 351 iron or aluminum heads?

302 it's steal headed for now but I'm going to be building an aluminum headed turbo motor for it

Dependong on what all you put on the front of the car when turbo i would go 12"150LB. Down teh road if that isn't enough srping they're only 70 bucks a set i believe and can be replaced easily. But for now iron headed 302 12" 150LB should work well.
