fox coil over suspenion vs stock suspension

im building a drag car and trying to figure out what would be best to go with, coil overs or stock suspension...
also im curious on what lower end i should use for a motor im thinking 351w but should i go with a block out of a used
stock car or save and buy a dart block? i need some advice and ideas thanks guys
 
Rear coil overs? Or all the way around? I'm doing coil overs on all 4 corners of my project, it's overkill for me but the adjustability is great, true stock suspension cars have gone really fast but it's easier to do coil overs IMO.

on all 4 but i want the rear coils to be centered rather then on the corners where stock shocks/ springs are
 
Well it depends on your overall goals. Mild or wild? For the rear Team Z recommends a 6cyl spring or high mile V8 springs. I like the adjustabilty of my front coilovers but keep in mind Strange recommends STEEL caster camber plates with coilovers so the strut doesnt go through the hood.

As far as block goes if you are on a budget you can get by with a stock block unless you plan using alot of power adders.
