Fox Body (90) EFI Harness Removal

Well I'm about to tackle removing the engine harness from my car to prepare for an aftermarket EFI system. A few years ago I tucked the harness into the fenderwells, but I dont remember whether or not it was tied into the headlight harness. Can I remove the Computer and harness and still expect my lights and whatnot to work? Just wanting to get some opinions before I start ripping shit apart. Is the Alternator wiring tied in to the ECU? Or the Starting circuit?
