It's a cover to protect the dash from the sun - the dash is in perfect shape !!

I love the interior door hands on the 79. My buddy had a 79 Cobra when we were in HS and the door panels were the same. That's the car that started it all! :lol:

Edit: I also liked the horn set up. lol
