i am going to sell my bike.i have no time to ride it anymore.the bike is a 98 cbr 1100 blackbird it has just turned 10,000 miles.new sprokets and chain.the bike has never been layed down and is in great to showroom shape.you will be hard pressed to find a cleaner bike.i would like to trade it for a nice mustang or maybe a z28 as long as they dont have any rust

thanxs for the bump. yea the bike was ahead of its time for sure,hell there is only a few bikes today that will out run it and it is a 10 year old bike.it is unreal how balanced the bike is and it is so smooth it is scary. as far as price goes some were around 5000 i think would be fair but i would rather trade for a nice street car

carb, '01 was the first year of EFI for Honda's. '02 was the first year for pretty much everyone else

I think they actually started with the 99/00 929's on EFI. Either way, a 98 is carb'd.

ya i just looked it up online, 99 is the first year for fi on these bikes, i knew 97 was carb, but was unsure about 98.
