I am selling my 1996 Ford Ranger. It has 154,000 miles on it. I have owned it for the last 55,000 miles, since 2007. It has the 4.0L V6 engine in it with an automatic transmission. A lot of the miles on the truck are highway from me driving to and from school in the upper peninsula, and my internship here in downstate Michigan, and back to IL where my home is. I've never had any major issues with this truck other than maintenance items. I change the oil between 3,000 and 5,000 miles, and use Valvoline Maxlife. I check the oil and the filter every time I change it and it comes out clean. If you wanted, you are welcome to check the filter or oil when you come look at the truck.
This truck has not been used for towing, and all it has is a bumper hitch. The heaviest it's ever been used for any length of time is hauling my snowmobile up north in the bed. It had no issues going 75 on the highway and had no issues passing. Transmission shifts well and the engine runs great. I like to keep the truck in good shape, I used Meguires NXT Tech 2.0 wax on it to keep the paint in good shape. There really aren't many trucks out here that have as little rust as this one. There are some paint flakes around the wheels wheels and just some slight surface rust starting there, but there is no rot or serious rust anywhere. The bed has a plastic bedliner in it. The bed rails have bolts that must have been from a toneau cover at some point. The paint is flaking around these bolts as well and surface rust is forming around there.
The truck has a leveling kit in the front and rancho RS5000 shocks all around which make for a good ride (for a truck).

Price: $2500
Miles:154,000
Location: Grand Blanc, MI

I'm not really interested in any trades. I'm looking at getting a newer awd car (Infiniti G35x), so unless you are interested in this truck as a partial trade, I am not planing on trading for much else.

PM me for a phone number, more info, or more pictures. I work 7-3:30, anytime after that you can come look at it.

Come on guys! Maybe I'll even leave the guest access pass to the Warren Tech Center in the door compartment there for you!

Does the heat and Ac work?

Also, is this a short or long bed? I don't know the difference.
