Ford announces hybrid Mustang by 2020....

I took my doorbell off this past summer because my son (3 years old) and the neighbor kids loved ringing it which drove my dog nuts, or the postman/UPS/FedEx would ring it and wake up my kids during nap time. I briefly researched creating a smart doorbell solution that would text me, but I spent all of 5 minutes on that yesterday.

Why does everyone think being a hybrid means losing the V8. What happens when you drive the front wheels with electric motors and the rear wheels with a good old V8? You have a hybrid. And it is bad ass. And it still makes all the wonderful V8 noises you've always loved.

Just think, many of the same people knocking hybrids probably knocked EFI 30 years ago

What do you think the hybrid Mustang will be - maybe the 2.3 with a battery pack good for 20 or 30 miles? I doubt they would do it with the 5.0, but that would be the game changer if they did. Especially if the battery pack added another 40 or 50 RWHP when you turned it off from economy mode. Now we are talking! That thing got nitrous? No, it has a back seat full of extra batteries, a 100 shot of electricity.
