ford 5.4L motor

Pulled from my lightning with 61k miles a week ago.

runs great, no issues. Went with a built motor.

Complete from oil pan to valve covers. valve covers have never been removed.
I am keeping some of the supercharger components for the swap to the new motor.

$750.00.

8.5 to 1 compression... not sure what other 5.4L are.

oil pan to valve covers. $750.00

if you want to supercharger it, I have pretty much everything you will need for extra. I wanted to get my truck running first.

I'll include fuel rails, lower turkey pan, midplate (I'm using the intercooler).

the follow is for sale separately:
ported supercharger
upper ported and polished plenum
throttle body
CAI
MAF, Filter etc...

basically, I'm using a few parts to get my truck running, (air conditioning pump, power steering pump, etc...) then I'll be selling everything else. you could basically assemble a lightning motor, minus a few parts.

all the parts have 61k miles are in great shape. I'm just stepping up the motor significantly and did not want to take this motor apart.

Do you still have this? Would be perfect for what we need!

Also do you have the lightning tensioner/idler bracket for sale?

I do, but just to be clear, it's complete from valve covers down. (valve covers never been off.)

the supercharger, turkey pan, intake, tb, etc... doesn't come with it.

Understood...we already have the entire assembled top end with injectors, coil packs, etc.
Just need the long block to replace a high mileage engine that has some piston noise.

Piston slap at cold start is common on mod motors. It starts at around 100k miles or less if they're boosted from what Champion told me when they built my 4.6 DOHC. Not that piston slap is a concern, people usually think it's a rod knock.

Ttt.

If it doesn't sell, I'll put the supercharger , intake tb, etc...on it and sell it mostly complete, minus a few parts I needed for my other build. But obviously price will go way up

Thanks for the engine and parts, Mark. It was nice meeting you guys. Didn't intend to stay there talking so long. LOL

Hopefully my Dad's project goes together quickly.
