??? for the LS guys

I do not know a damn thing about any of the LS motors
I have a 2009 G8 GT 6.0, My ? is what motor is this ? I have seen alot posted about all different LS motors and was just wondering what mine is , Example ...LS1,LS2,LS3,LS6, L99 ect..... And what is the difference between them ?
