I dont think anyone is denying that an 02 SS is a badass car. They made alot more than they rated themselves at, and they were light compared to todays Piggy Camaros. 02's had good intakes, heads, etc.
 
I loved my 02 SS and it ran pretty good for just having a few bolt ons (true Ram air, bellows, etc..), but there is now way I would have thought that would have been the outcome to the new 5.0's.

Is there and credability to this vid?

Meh, doesn't sound completely stock. Why not pop the hood on the LS1 car in the video to prove it's stock? You had it open for the 5.0

I don't know, I'm a chevy guy, but this video has BS on it.

The guy owns both cars. I'm sure he'd say... Besides, you could order your car with the SLP Loudmouth, and that may be what it had :)

Just saying, the camaro doesn't sound stock. I'd have to see some actual 1/4 mile times from both. This roll racing shit is for bakers and ricers.
 
lmfao. man those mustang guys get sooooo butthurt over something like this. just reading some of those replys on the svt performance thread had me cracking up. "there has to be NX on that camaro" "the engine on the 5.0 wasnt broken in" "theres no way in hell a GAY CAMARO will beat the new 5.0" like its the fastest car ever produced or something. then they were saying "show me a high 12 second STOCK camaro" if i was a member over there i would reply "ok lets jump in my time machine to 2002 and i will"

i give alot of props to the new mustangs. im a chevy guy, own an ls1 camaro, BUT i still respect the new mustangs. it seems the ford guys cant do the same, and it cracks me up.

that said, dont you think if that camaro had nitrous on it it would beat that mustang by a little more than half a car to a car length? i mean come on. sprayed ls1's go bottom 12's high 11's all day.
