You would also need to go get a pistol purchase permit if you don't have a CPL ( which you would get from the city/county twp you live in )

the ri-60 is a state form to my knowledge.

If you have a cpl all the seller does is fill out a pistol purchase record (ri-060) form. If no cpl
Then u need a purchaes permit and the ri-060 form. After all that is done you have 10 days to return it all to you're local PD.

All forms are available at you're PD and you have to take a quick little test while your there about gun safety. They give you a 15-20 pg. Pamphlet to read before you take it. You have to get 70% on it in order to get you're permit.

Hmmmmm, thought there was suppose to be a 3 day wait so you know..... Can't just go buy one when youre mad.

I know Farmington hills only files them on like wed of each week, and the last one took me a week, but I just figured it took that long cause I am a criminal.

They'll do a quick background check and you should get the permit the same day. At that time you'll 10 days to purchase the pistol.

You return two copies to the PD, you keep one copy, the seller keeps one copy. That's it.

A week is bullshit. It's LAW that the PD must complete this in a reasonable amount of time.
