I have a 1996 Escort for sale. I recently picked this up from a buddy with a busted timing belt. I was going to fix it and drive it for the winter but I have not found much use for it now that it is fixed since my other car does better than I thought it would in the snow. Here's what I've done to it:
New timing belt and tensioner
New spark plugs
New spark plug wires
New windshield
Complete new exhaust system
New catalytic converter
New front brake pads and rear brake shoes
New thermostat and coolant flush
New passenger inner tie rod
Newer tires
The car has 177K miles and is a five speed manual. The AC blows cold (not that it matters now but it's nice in the summer). The best thing about the car is that it get between 30 and 35 miles per gallon. There is nothing functionally wrong with the car and I have fixed all of the problems that came up. The interior is grey in color and is VERY clean. I'm looking to get $1,600 or best. The best way to get a hold of me is to give me a call on my cell (734-323-6654).
