Focus ST stopped by yesterday

We sell a decent amount of them.

Ford can't and won't lose money on cars anymore. They will just produce less if the market won't sustain current levels.

X2.....there's definitely a paradigm shift occuring in our industry. the factory(ies) want more control over their products, and that doesn't apply solely to vehicles. it's an edgy time to be in the industry as the changes are coming at us very rapidly.

Win win situation though really. They will hold their value better for the people that do buy them, and Ford will maximize profits by not overproducing and cutting margins.

That car will easily sell at $30k. Trust me. Get in one, play with all the gadgets for a bit, then actually drive it. They are very, very cool cars. The car is actually so quiet inside they added a system to channel engine sound through the stereo. An engineer told me that it will be defeatable in the production models.

It'll still end up cheaper than the Golf R and will outrun it.

when are these going to start going on sale? Our dealer never gets anything cool, we get like one gt500 a year and I have yet to see a boss :/. hopefully they actually get a couple ST's since it is just a focus. also, off topic sort of, but the new SHO's look wayyy better body wise. I'm really diggin what ford is doing with the front of the cars lately.

Anyone know when these are going to be released and pricing? I have a friend who's dying to take a look at one.

By the way, that color is "Performance Blue". Looks really close to the new Deep Impact Blue, but it's not.
